A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Krista Lynn Ward holds a Bachelor of Science in retail merchandising and management with a minor in economics, as well as a dual Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate. As an operations executive with Stark Investments and Calhoun Asset Management, she flourished in the hedge fund industry early in her career . In 2010, Krista Lynn Ward started Yohob (You Only Have One Body), which developed Hooray Puree, raising multiple rounds of capital to produce several lines of retail food products.

Since 2019, Ms. Ward has served as Director of Operations and Development for Maestro Corporate Group, a privately held venture capital firm in Chicago. She also selectively provides management consulting services to help organizations in the cannabis, food and beverage, and real estate industries improve efficiency and profitability.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Ms. Ward enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, and participating in water sports. She is also a CrossFit enthusiast, having competed five times in the CrossFit Open, which involves a number of physical competitions requiring different movements and equipment, as well as the 2017 World OCR Championships.
